How to make Death Spiral
- Take Axe and Candelabrador.
- Raise Axe to maximum level.
- Once both requirements are ready, open an evolution-capable chest.
Candelabrador only needs to be in your inventory for this regular evolution. Prioritize Axe levels before using the chest you intend to evolve with.
What changes after evolution
Death Spiral fires scythes in every direction, and the scythes pass through enemies and walls. This changes Axe from an upward arcing attack into broad coverage that can reach enemies approaching from several sides.
The official Steam Death Spiral achievement is completed by evolving Axe.
