Saint Germain unlock guide: evolve Trident into Gungnir-Souris

Quick answer: evolve Trident into Gungnir-Souris

Saint Germain unlocks when you evolve Trident into Gungnir-Souris. Isaac starts with Trident, so this is the direct objective after unlocking him.

Who this guide is for

• You want Saint Germain's exact unlock condition.
• You need the passive item and levels for Trident.
• You want the next objective after unlocking Isaac.

Unlock steps

1. Unlock Isaac and start a run as him.
2. Raise Trident to level 8.
3. Obtain Duplicator and raise it to level 2.
4. Open an evolution-eligible chest to obtain Gungnir-Souris.
5. Confirm that Saint Germain is unlocked.

Duplicator must reach its maximum level of 2. Saint Germain starts with Globus, which continues the chain toward Julia Laforeze.

If the evolution does not appear

• Confirm that Trident reached level 8.
• Confirm that Duplicator reached level 2.
• Open an evolution-eligible chest after both items are ready.
• Verify that Isaac's starting weapon is still available and not sealed.
