Shaft unlock guide: evolve Luminatio into Vol Luminatio

Quick answer: evolve Luminatio into Vol Luminatio

Shaft unlocks when you evolve Luminatio into Vol Luminatio. Lisa Tepes starts with Luminatio, so using her avoids waiting for the weapon in level-up choices.

Who this guide is for

• You want Shaft's exact unlock condition.
• You need the required levels for Luminatio and Crown.
• You are continuing the post-Black Disk unlock chain.

Unlock steps

1. Unlock Lisa Tepes and start a run as her.
2. Raise Luminatio to its maximum level of 6.
3. Obtain Crown and raise it to its maximum level of 5.
4. Open an evolution-eligible chest to obtain Vol Luminatio.
5. Confirm that Shaft is unlocked.

Both Luminatio and Crown must be at maximum level. Check both level numbers before opening the chest.

If the evolution does not appear

• Confirm that Luminatio reached level 6.
• Confirm that Crown reached level 5.
• Open an evolution-eligible chest after both requirements are ready.
• Verify that the Black Disk has been obtained.
