How to Unlock and Use Boon Marrabbio
Short answer: process Pummarola and Skull O'Maniac in Mad Forest, then defeat the enemy at the end of the pie trail

Boon Marrabbio becomes available after you process Pummarola and Skull O'Maniac in Mad Forest, follow the pie trail, and defeat the shadowy enemy at its end. The old requirement to collect 100 Floor Chickens is no longer part of the normal unlock.
Normal unlock steps
- Obtain the Yellow Sign.
- Enter Mad Forest and pick up Pummarola and Skull O'Maniac.
- If you do not collect the stage items, obtain both through level-up choices and raise them to maximum level.
- Follow the pies on the ground and defeat the shadowy enemy at the end of the trail.
- After the unlock sound, finish the run and buy Marrabbio from Character Selection.
Stage versions of the two items can be discarded after collection without stopping the unlock sequence. When using level-up versions instead, both must reach maximum level.
Spell alternative
After obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, use the spell-entry feature and enter `fettinepanate`. Merely opening the regular Secrets list may not display a text field, so confirm that spell entry is actually available.
Thousand Edge behaves differently with extreme projectile-speed loss
Marrabbio starts with +20 Max Health, +30% Move Speed, +20% Might, and +10% Curse, but also -110% Projectile Speed and -80% Greed. The severe projectile-speed penalty changes how Thousand Edge travels compared with its normal behavior.
Projectile-speed bonuses and other weapons can change that behavior. Check the current build instead of treating Marrabbio as a character who always attacks backward.
Common mistakes
- Do not follow the obsolete 100 Floor Chicken requirement.
- If you skip the stage items, obtain and fully level both through level-up choices.
- The objective is the enemy at the end of the pie trail, not collecting every pie.
- Spell entry is an alternative available after obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane.
