Vampire Survivors Beginning Arcana Guide: Unlock and Amount Bonus

The short answer: reach level 50 with Antonio

Beginning (X) is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Antonio. Listed weapons gain +1 Amount, while the character's starting weapon and its evolution or union gain +3 Amount.

Use it when the starting weapon is central to the run and benefits from Amount. The card does not give every weapon +3 Amount.

Unlock steps

1. Select Antonio.
2. Reach level 50 in any stage.
3. After the run, confirm that Beginning (X) is unlocked.
4. In a later run, check the starting weapon and affected list before selecting it.

The difference between +3 and +1

• The starting weapon and its evolution or union gain +3 Amount.
• Other listed weapons gain +1 Amount.
• A weapon that does not benefit from Amount may gain little from the card.
• The bonus continues to the supported evolution or union of the starting weapon.

Decide based on whether the starting weapon will remain part of the finished build.
