Maria Renard unlock guide: clear stages as Shanoa and Juste

Quick answer: clear a stage as Shanoa and as Juste Belmont

Maria Renard unlocks after you complete any stage once as Shanoa and once as Juste Belmont. Unlocking those two characters is not enough by itself; each one must finish a stage.

Who this guide is for

• You want the exact requirement for unlocking Maria Renard.
• You need to know which two characters must clear a stage.
• You are unsure whether the condition fits into one run.

Unlock steps

1. Unlock Shanoa.
2. Unlock Juste Belmont.
3. Select Shanoa and complete any stage.
4. Select Juste Belmont and complete any stage.
5. Confirm the Maria Renard unlock after both clears are recorded.

The condition does not name a specific stage. A short stage can reduce the time needed for the two separate clears.

If Maria does not unlock

• Confirm that both Shanoa and Juste Belmont have completed a stage.
• Do not stop after merely unlocking the two required characters.
• Reach the stage's completion condition instead of quitting the run early.
• If only one clear is recorded, finish a run with the other character.
