Golden Egg guide: choose the character before buying
A Golden Egg raises a random stat on the character who receives it. The upgrade belongs to that character, so it should not be planned like an account-wide PowerUp.
The merchant price is 10,000 coins per egg. Before buying repeatedly, decide which character you expect to keep using so the purchases are not spread across unrelated characters without a plan.

A purchase procedure that remains comparable
- Stabilize runs with normal PowerUps first.
- Choose one candidate character for Golden Egg investment.
- Use that character when buying one egg for 10,000 coins.
- Compare the same stage, mode, and weapon plan before and after the purchase.
- Record the character name and egg count before buying more.
Normal PowerUps can be reset and the spent coins refunded. Golden Eggs are character-specific random upgrades, so do not make the character choice as casually as a reversible PowerUp allocation.
Build a coin route before repeated purchases
Hyper Mode on the five main base-game stages includes a coin bonus. If the changed conditions make the run fail, return to a reliable setup before treating the bonus as an improvement.
Arcana XV - Disco of Gold is unlocked by reaching 31 minutes in Inlaid Library. During a run with the Arcana active, collecting a Coin Bag from the ground triggers Gold Fever. Selecting the Arcana alone does not keep Gold Fever active continuously.
Big Trouser becomes unlockable after maximizing all 16 standard passive items in Moongolow and leaving the run after meeting the condition. The character gains Greed while leveling, which makes Big Trouser a relevant option when preparing coins for later Golden Egg purchases.
Common planning mistakes
Assuming every character receives the upgrade
Golden Egg bonuses belong to the receiving character. Do not purchase one character's eggs with the expectation that another character will inherit them.
Assuming one desired stat can be selected
The improved stat is random. One purchase does not guarantee the stat you currently want.
Spreading purchases before choosing a farming character
Scattered purchases make run comparisons harder. Start with one character and record results under the same conditions.

- Coins earned
This produces a personal comparison instead of treating results from a heavily upgraded account as a target for a new save.
