Magi-Stone is a stage item in Westwoods. Picking it up is not enough to add it to the normal level-up pool; raise it to level 7 during the same run.
How to unlock Magi-Stone
- Start Westwoods.
- Reach and collect the Magi-Stone stage item.
- Prioritize it in level-up choices until it reaches level 7.
- Check Unlocks or the Collection after the run.
Keep one weapon slot open until you collect the stage item. A full weapon inventory can prevent the pickup.
How the weapon works
Magi-Stone drops red, blue, and yellow gems from the top of the screen. A large gem breaks into smaller fragments after hitting its target. Its fixed damage rises with weapon level and ignores the character's Might stat.
Level-ups improve Amount, Area, Speed, and Cooldown. Pair it with a weapon that keeps your movement path open while the falling gems and fragments cover groups.
How to evolve it into Kyra-Stones
- Raise Magi-Stone to level 8.
- Obtain Karoma's Mana.
- Open a chest that can grant an evolution.
Karoma's Mana only needs to be held at level 1. Level 7 unlocks Magi-Stone for future runs, while level 8 is required for its evolution.
If it does not unlock or evolve
- Picking up the stage item without reaching level 7 does not complete the unlock.
- Keep a weapon slot open before reaching the item.
- Use level 7 for the permanent unlock and level 8 for evolution.
- Confirm Karoma's Mana is in the inventory.
