Leon Belmont starts the normal Ode to Castlevania character chain. Instead of entering the castle immediately, go northeast from the starting point and open the coffin in front of the castle entrance.

- You want to continue from Leon to Trevor Belmont.
Unlock steps
- Enable the Ode to Castlevania DLC.
- Start the Ode to Castlevania stage.
- Travel northeast toward the entrance to the castle.
- Defeat the enemies guarding the coffin.
- Touch the coffin to unlock Leon Belmont.

If the coffin does not open
- Defeat every enemy guarding the coffin.
- Confirm that you found the first coffin before the castle entrance.
- Check that the DLC is installed and enabled.
- If the detailed map is unavailable, check whether you have the base-game Milky Way Map.
Unlock Trevor Belmont next
After unlocking Leon, select him and defeat Giant Medusa Head to unlock Trevor Belmont. In the Japanese interface, Trevor is listed as Ralph C. Belmont.
