Stanley Ironside becomes available for purchase after you collect 14 Rapid Fire pickups across runs. You do not need to collect all 14 in one attempt.
Unlock steps
- Enable the Operation Guns DLC.
- Select Neo Galuga.
- Break light sources and collect Rapid Fire pickups.
- Repeat runs until the cumulative total reaches 14.
- Finish the run and purchase Stanley on the character selection screen.
Use the Neo Galuga stage guide for the stage route.
Spell alternative
After obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane and unlocking spell entry, enter `morethanamechsuit`. The Operation Guns DLC is still required.
Homing Miss evolution
Requirement | Condition |
|---|---|
Homing Miss | Level 8 (maximum) |
Weapon Power-Up | Hold it |
Duplicator | Hold it |
Treasure chest | Open after meeting the requirements |
Homing Miss evolves into Multistage Missiles. Weapon Power-Up loses one level when the evolution occurs.
How Stanley works
Stanley starts with 200 Max Health, +1 Armor, and +20% Might. Every 10% Might grants 1 Armor, so Might upgrades improve both damage and durability.
Homing Miss automatically tracks nearby enemies. Focus on spacing and avoiding encirclement rather than aiming each shot.
If he does not unlock
- Pick up Rapid Fire rather than only seeing it on the stage.
- Accumulate the total across multiple runs.
- Raise Homing Miss to level 8.
- Hold both Weapon Power-Up and Duplicator.
