Pako Battiliar enters the normal level-up pool after you defeat 161,616 bats across your runs. This is a cumulative requirement, not a single-run challenge, so combine it with other unlock and farming goals on stages that spawn many bats.
How to make progress
- Choose a stage with repeated bat waves.
- Use broad attacks and continue the run normally.
- Build the cumulative total across multiple runs.
- Check Unlocks or the Collection after meeting the requirement.
Progress does not need to happen in one run. A run that ends early can still contribute bats to the cumulative total.
How Pako Battiliar works
Groups of bats enter from off-screen and travel in straight lines through enemies. Because their position is not locked around the player, use another weapon to protect the space immediately around you.
Taking damage can trigger an additional retaliatory group. Do not take unnecessary hits just to force it. For the evolution, maximize both Pako Battiliar and Hollow Heart.
