Vampire Survivors Slash Guide: Unlock and Critical Builds

The short answer: reach level 50 with Lama

Slash (XVI) is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Lama. It enables critical hits for listed weapons and doubles overall critical damage.

It does not double every ordinary hit. Select it when the current weapons and their critical behavior can use the effect.

Unlock steps

1. Make Lama available.
2. Start any stage with Lama.
3. Reach level 50 during the run.
4. After the run, confirm that Slash (XVI) is unlocked.

Current official Steam achievements use level 50, not the older level 99 condition.

Reading the effect

• Listed weapons gain critical-hit capability.
• Overall critical damage is doubled.
• Critical chance and the original multiplier still vary by weapon.
• A run made only from unsupported weapons gains little from the main effect.

Check the in-game card description against the current loadout before selecting it. Luck can also matter when judging how often critical hits occur.
