Ghost Lino is unlocked by evolving Lifesign Scan. Pick up Lifesign Scan on Polus Replica and raise it to level 7 to add it to the normal weapon pool.
Evolution checklist
- Enter Polus Replica and collect Lifesign Scan.
- Raise Lifesign Scan to level 8.
- Obtain Mini Ghost and raise it to level 3.
- Open an eligible chest after both items reach maximum level.
- Confirm the evolution into Paranormal Scan.
- Finish the run and reopen character selection.
Use the Milky Way Map or collect the Polus Replica map if you need help locating stage items.
Spell alternative
After obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, enter `foundyellowinmedical` in the spell input screen. The Emergency Meeting DLC must still be available.
Defeat one enemy as Ghost Lino
Ghost has -100% Might, so normal weapon damage cannot complete Guardian Pina's one-kill requirement. The simplest route is a Rosary.
- Choose a stage with a known Rosary pickup.
- Start as Ghost Lino.
- Collect the Rosary while at least one enemy is on screen.
- Confirm the kill and finish the results screen.
If Arcana are available, Mad Groove (VIII) can pull the Rosary toward you. Sarabande of Healing (VI) and other damage sources that do not rely on Might are alternatives.
Ghost's special limits
Ghost cannot be damaged and can pass through walls. The run still ends when the current stage time limit is reached, even with Endless enabled. Use Ghost for item routes and Guardian Pina's unlock rather than a normal long survival run.
If Ghost does not unlock
- Max both Lifesign Scan and Mini Ghost.
- Level 7 adds Lifesign Scan to the pool but does not unlock Ghost by itself.
- Complete the Paranormal Scan evolution and reach the results screen.
- For Guardian Pina, use a Rosary or another non-Might damage source and confirm an actual kill.
