Great Gospel location and Limit Break unlock guide
The short answer: obtain the Yellow Sign, then defeat Cappella Magna's final enemy
Item | Details |
|---|---|
Relic | Great Gospel |
Stage | Cappella Magna |
Prerequisite | Yellow Sign collected |
Unlock | Limit Break |
To obtain the Great Gospel, collect the Yellow Sign first, survive to 30 minutes in Cappella Magna, and defeat The Ender. Collect the relic that appears after the fight. Defeating the boss without picking up the drop does not finish the unlock.
How to get the Great Gospel
- Reach Holy Forbidden from Moongolow and collect the Yellow Sign.
- Enter Cappella Magna.
- Survive to 30 minutes.
- Defeat The Ender.
- Collect the Great Gospel that appears.
- On a later run, confirm that Limit Break can be toggled from stage selection.
If the final enemy does not appear
Unlocking Cappella Magna is not enough. The final encounter requires the Yellow Sign. If the run reaches 30 minutes and ends with the normal Reaper sequence, verify the relic before changing the build.
Follow the Holy Forbidden and Yellow Sign guide if that prerequisite is missing.
What Limit Break changes
The Great Gospel unlocks the Limit Break toggle on stage selection. When Limit Break is enabled and the normal equipment levels are complete, later level-ups can add further upgrades to weapons you already hold.
If the relic does not unlock
