Bat Robbert is unlocked by combining Pako Battiliar with a max-level Hollow Heart and obtaining Mazo Familiar from an evolution chest.
Normal unlock steps
- Make Pako Battiliar available in the weapon pool.
- Obtain Pako Battiliar and Hollow Heart during a run.
- Raise both to maximum level.
- Open an eligible evolution chest and obtain Mazo Familiar.
- Return to character selection and buy Bat Robbert.
If the evolution does not appear, check that Hollow Heart is fully leveled and that the chest is eligible to evolve weapons.
Spell alternative
After obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane and gaining access to spell entry, enter `bimbumbam`.
Cycle critical health and full recovery
Bat Robbert starts with Pako Battiliar, +0.5 Recovery, +1 Armor, and +20% Move Speed. Dropping below 20% Max Health increases Max Health and heals him. Returning to full health makes the ability available again.
Do not remain in contact with enemies to force repeated triggers. Create distance as soon as the effect activates, then use floor healing or a healing weapon to return to full health. The ability does not negate fatal damage.
Max Health 665 is the Darkana goal
After obtaining the Darkasso, reach 665 Max Health with Bat Robbert to satisfy the achievement for Darkana XXI, Wandering the Jet Black. Bring Max Health and healing support so the character ability can be rearmed safely.
