Vampire Survivors Boogaloo of Illusions Guide: Unlock and Area Cycle

The short answer: reach level 50 with Concetta

Boogaloo of Illusions (XVIII) is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Concetta. Overall Area cycles from -25% to +25% over 10 seconds, and every level gained after taking the card adds 1% Area.

It can grow screen coverage throughout a run, but it is not a constant +25% Area bonus.

Unlock steps

1. Make Concetta available.
2. Start any stage with Concetta.
3. Reach level 50 during the run.
4. After the run, confirm that Boogaloo of Illusions (XVIII) is unlocked.

Current official Steam achievements use level 50.

Reading the cycle

• Overall Area cycles from -25% to +25% over 10 seconds.
• Every level after selecting the card adds 1% Area.
• Levels gained before selecting it are not added retroactively.
• Wide attacks and defensive weapons around the character can use the growing Area.

Keep a movement option available because coverage also contracts during the lower part of the cycle.
