Yatta Cavallo becomes available to buy after you defeat 3,000 Lionheads in total. The counter carries across runs, so all 3,000 kills do not need to happen in one attempt.
Unlock steps
- Play runs in which Lionheads appear.
- Favor area damage that lets you survive longer and defeat larger groups.
- Continue until the cumulative total reaches 3,000 Lionheads.
- Finish the run and buy Cavallo from Character Selection.
The cumulative total may not remain visible during ordinary play, but progress is retained between runs. There is no need to force a single high-risk farming attempt.
Using the +3 Amount growth
Cavallo gains +1 Amount at levels 20, 40, and 60, for a total of +3. Cherry Bomb bounces around the screen and can explode when it stops. Additional Amount puts more bombs in motion, improving coverage against enemies approaching from several directions.
Add other weapons that respond to Amount to make broader use of his passive. Amount does not affect every weapon.
Common mistakes
- The 3,000 kills are cumulative, not limited to one run.
- Completing the kill count still leaves a coin purchase in Character Selection.
- Cavallo's character growth stops adding Amount after the +3 tier at level 60.
- Cherry Bomb does not guarantee an explosion every time it stops.
