- Travel to the southeastern portal.
- Fight the boss beyond that portal.
- Reduce the boss's remaining health.
- Freeze the boss and defeat it before the freeze ends.
If Malevolent Door Spirit does not unlock
- Confirm that you entered the southeastern portal.
- Confirm that the freeze had not ended before the boss died.
- Confirm that the frozen target and defeated boss were the same enemy.
Save the freeze effect until the boss is low on health to make the final-state requirement easier to control.
