Big Troubler is unlocked by evolving Unearthly Bolt. He is a different character from Big Trouser. If Unearthly Bolt is not yet available, first buy the Green Eyes Vizard in The Lycaeum and defeat a Bat Dragon on an eligible stage.
Normal unlock steps
- Buy the Green Eyes Vizard in The Lycaeum.
- Defeat one Bat Dragon in Mad Forest or Il Molise to unlock Unearthly Bolt.
- Raise Unearthly Bolt to level 8 and Tirajisú to level 2.
- Open an evolution-capable chest to evolve Unearthly Bolt into Spirit Disturbance.
- Continue to the results screen and confirm Big Troubler's unlock.
Avoid consuming every chest before the requirements are ready. Tirajisú disappears after all of its revivals are spent, so keep it available until the evolution is complete.
Spell alternative
After obtaining the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane and gaining access to spell entry, enter `wifeseeker`. Use the normal route as well if you want Unearthly Bolt and Spirit Disturbance available in the weapon pool.
Use coins for both attacks and defense
Big Troubler starts with Unearthly Bolt. Picking up Gold Coins triggers his starting weapon, while incoming damage consumes collected coins before reducing health. Once the coin reserve reaches zero, damage affects health normally.
He also has an increased chance to draft FOIL Survarots. On a first run, establish reliable coin collection and add a dependable second attack before relying on his starting weapon alone.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm Unearthly Bolt reached level 8.
- Confirm Tirajisú reached level 2 and has not disappeared after using its revivals.
- Save an evolution-capable chest until both requirements are ready.
- Reach the results screen after Spirit Disturbance appears.
