Vampire Survivors Jail of Crystal Guide: Unlock and Freeze Builds

The short answer: reach level 50 with Pasqualina

Jail of Crystal (XIV) is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Pasqualina. It gives projectiles from listed weapons a chance to freeze enemies.

Freeze can slow down a collapsing run, but the card does not apply to every weapon and does not guarantee that every hit freezes.

Unlock steps

1. Make Pasqualina available.
2. Start any stage with Pasqualina.
3. Reach level 50 during the run.
4. After the run, confirm that Jail of Crystal (XIV) is unlocked.

Current official Steam achievements use level 50. Do not follow older level 99 instructions.

Reading the effect

• Projectiles from listed weapons gain a chance to freeze enemies.
• The effect is neither universal nor guaranteed on every hit.
• The supported weapon list can expand with updates, so check the in-game card text.
• Out of Bounds (XII) can add explosions when frozen enemies are hit.

Before selecting the card, confirm that the run contains at least one supported weapon.
