Sonia Belmont unlock guide: Stallion Gate and Heart Refreshes

Quick answer: find seven Heart Refreshes after opening Stallion Gate

Sonia Belmont unlocks after you open Stallion Gate and then find seven Heart Refreshes. Complete the gate prerequisite before working on the collection condition.

Who this guide is for

• You want the exact requirement for unlocking Sonia Belmont.
• Collecting Heart Refreshes has not advanced the unlock.
• You need to know which gate comes first.

Unlock steps

1. Defeat Giant Bat in Ode to Castlevania.
2. Collect Stallion Gate to open the gate.
3. After the gate is open, find seven Heart Refreshes.
4. Check the unlock notification for Sonia Belmont.

Stallion Gate opens access toward the Gallery and Laboratory and activates the castle-entrance warp destination. The Ode to Castlevania map guide covers the full gate order.

If Sonia does not unlock

• Confirm that Stallion Gate was opened before collecting toward the condition.
• Confirm that the pickups are Heart Refreshes.
• Check the Unlocks screen for the current condition and progress.

This guide does not assert whether all seven must be collected in one run. Use the in-game Unlocks progress as the deciding record.
