Obsidian Knight Version 2.4.11 Update
iOS 2.4.11 expands Island Explorer and permanent progression
Apple App Store history dates Obsidian Knight iOS version 2.4.11 to September 25, 2026. Its central additions are Island Explorer with 65 islands and 290 levels, five Weapon Magic branches, weapon cosmetics, and Legendary Skill Tree progression up to level 150.
This article covers the scope described for 2.4.11. Android version numbers and release timing may differ, so do not treat iOS `2.4.11` as the Android version number.
Features confirmed in official update information
Area | Addition | Check after updating |
|---|---|---|
Island Explorer | 65 islands and 290 levels | Current island, level, and unlock text |
Weapon Magic | Fire, Ice, Lightning, Blood, and Nature | The Magic screen for each weapon |
Weapon appearance | Weapon Cosmetics | Weapon and cosmetic selection screens |
Permanent progression | Legendary Skill Tree up to level 150 | Current level and available tree |
Skill Cards | Enhanced Skill Cards | Card offers and effect text during a run |
Mining | Shards obtained through Mining | Mining rewards and resource balance |
This does not mean that every one of the 65 islands contains 290 levels. The official wording describes 65 islands and 290 levels in total; verify the distribution on the current game screen.
What to do first after updating
- Check the installed version in the App Store and in the game.
- Open Island Explorer and record the current island, level, and displayed rule.
- Check whether all five Weapon Magic branches are visible.
- Record your current Legendary Skill Tree position.
- Open Skill Card and Mining screens and copy new labels exactly as displayed.
- Test the old build once and record the first failure symptom.
- Change one item and compare three runs at the same destination.
You do not need to spend every resource immediately after updating. When an unlock condition or node effect is not visible, record the displayed condition instead of investing based on a guess.
Guide entry points for each addition
Progress through the 65 Islands
The 65 Islands progress log separates location, failure, and permanent progression. It does not fill in unverified island names, enemies, or rewards.
Compare Weapon Magic
Use the five Weapon Magic branches to compare Fire, Ice, Lightning, Blood, and Nature from the current screen. Official update text does not define every node effect, cost, or universal upgrade order.
Review progression up to level 150
The Legendary Skill Tree guide connects visible nodes to the current failure. Level 150 describes the tree's progression range; it does not mean that every feature unlocks at level 150.
Keep Shards separate from Darksteel
Treat Mining Shards and the Darksteel used for set upgrades as different resources. Use Shards versus Darksteel to compare acquisition screens, balances, and spending screens.
Advice that may be outdated after 2.4.11
- Progression tables that do not include Island Explorer
- Weapon rankings that ignore Weapon Magic
- Permanent-progression advice limited to the pre-level-150 range
- Guides that treat Mining Shards and Darksteel as one resource
- Builds using old fixed card effects or multipliers
- Instructions that assume manual movement or target selection
When comparing old and new setups, change one item at the same destination and for the same failure. Upgrading several new systems at once hides which change caused the result.
What the update history does not establish
Official store text does not establish exact unlock levels, island order, every node cost and multiplier, color-specific Shard rates, individual rewards, or a best build. This guide does not assert those details until they are visible in the game or confirmed by independent public sources.
