Obsidian Knight 65 Islands Guide Index
Choose an Islands guide by the problem stopping your run
The official store listings describe Island Explorer as 65 islands and 290 levels with new mechanics and challenges. Two players stuck on the same island may need different fixes depending on whether the bottleneck is damage, healing, Skill Cards, or permanent progression.
This page is a navigation index. It routes you from the current symptom to a verified guide instead of presenting unverified stage-by-stage data.
Record your current position first
Before changing the build, record four details from the game screen:
- Your current island and level.
- Whether normal enemies, a group, or a boss stops the run.
- Remaining HP, Potions, and elapsed time at defeat.
- The main effect shared by the Skill Cards selected in that run.
"I cannot win" does not separate a damage problem from a survival problem. Change only one factor when retrying the same point.
Guide index by symptom
Current situation | Read first | What to check |
|---|---|---|
You need an overview of 65 Islands | Current position, failure type, and retry notes | |
The new feature is not visible | App version and update contents | |
Normal enemies take too long to defeat | Weapon Magic and the current damage source | |
You reach the boss but cannot finish | Damage, survival, or time limit | |
The three Skill Card choices are unclear | Trigger, chain effect, and survival layer | |
You die with Potions remaining | Refill, use timing, and post-use effects | |
Repeated hits end the run | Post-dodge effects and Armor maintenance | |
Permanent upgrade order is unclear | Missing equipment, card, and tree upgrades |
Progression systems connected to Island Explorer
The official update notes introduced the following systems alongside the 65 Islands:
- five Weapon Magic branches: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Blood, and Nature,
- the Legendary Skill Tree continuing to level 150,
- stronger Skill Cards,
- Shards obtained from Mining.
If repeating an island does not improve the result, review these connected progression systems as well. Exact unlock requirements, costs, and numerical effects should be checked on the current game screen.
Change one factor per retry
How the run ends | One candidate to change |
|---|---|
The next enemy arrives before the current one dies | Change one Weapon Magic or damage Skill Card choice |
You die with a Potion unused | Change the Potion timing |
Potions run out before defeat | Change one of Dodge, Armor, or healing |
The boss survives until the timer ends | Remove one card with a narrow trigger |
Each run fails at a different point | Focus Skill Cards on one trigger family |
Changing equipment, cards, and permanent upgrades together makes the result impossible to attribute. Compare progress point, remaining HP, and Potions before and after the single change.
Details not asserted yet
Public communities report level gates, Crystals, and island reset behavior, but those details have not been confirmed against a current game screen and an independent source. This guide therefore does not assert:
- exact island names or display order,
- island-specific unlock requirements,
- fixed level or resource requirements,
- challenge reset eligibility or cost,
- a complete enemy, boss, or reward list.
These details can be added to individual stage guides after screen verification.
