Obsidian Knight Act 1 Guide and Act 2 Unlock Check
Finish Act 1 by confirming the post-battle transition and Act selector
Do not treat Act 1 as complete only because the last enemy was defeated. Finish the post-battle sequence, return to the map, and confirm that Act 2 appears in the Act selector. Official update history introduced Act 2 as a new map, while public player reports describe a throne-related sequence after the Act 1 final fight before the Act selector becomes available.
This guide is for players who cannot tell where Act 1 ends, cannot find Act 2 after reaching the final area, or keep losing at the same point.
What you can control in Act 1
Movement and attacks proceed automatically in normal Obsidian Knight combat. Improve the run through choices and preparation instead of searching for manual movement, dodge, or target buttons.
- At each level-up, choose a Skill Card connected to a trigger already working in the build.
- Record whether regular enemies, a group, or the final enemy stops the run.
- Separate a defeat with Potions remaining from a defeat after Potions run out.
- Change one equipment or permanent-upgrade decision at a time.
Some competitor guides recommend manual kiting, dodging red areas, or targeting enemies. Those instructions conflict with the verified auto-battle control model and are not used here.
Review the run in this order
Where the run stops | First check | One change for the next attempt |
|---|---|---|
Regular enemies remain | Damage triggers are split across unrelated effects | Focus on one source such as Critical |
A group overwhelms the run | The trigger does not continue into multi-target damage, Stun, or Explosion | Connect one trigger to one crowd-control result |
You die with Potions remaining | The healing-use condition is not activating | Review one Potion-use or post-heal effect |
Potions run out | Incoming damage is not reduced | Add one Armor, Dodge, or Stun route |
Only the final enemy remains | Sustained single-target damage is missing | Replace one crowd-only effect with single-target value |
Do not change equipment, card strategy, and permanent upgrades together when comparing the same wall.
Confirm Act 1 completion
- Finish the final Act 1 battle.
- Continue through the post-battle dialogue or throne-related sequence.
- Return to the map.
- Follow any visible throne prompt on the current screen.
- Open the Act selector near the upper-right area of the map.
- Confirm that the new Act 2 map can be selected.
Button positions can change by device or update. If the throne or Act selector is missing, check visible unfinished markers, dialogue, and the final location before repeatedly tapping coordinates from an old guide.
If Act 2 does not appear
The final battle is incomplete
Check the map for an unfinished battle or progression marker. Also record the selected difficulty so a different route is not mistaken for completed progress.
The post-battle sequence is incomplete
After the final enemy, look for remaining dialogue, a choice, or a throne prompt. Return to the map before closing the app and check whether the Act selector was added.
The throne Lore condition is being confused with progression
The throne Lore entry uses a separate collection sequence involving region objects and audio cues. Act progression and complete Lore collection are not the same task. If the Act selector works, diagnose missing Lore separately.
The display did not refresh
Check the app version and connection, then restart the app. Do not reinstall before verifying that save linking is active.
