Obsidian Knight Armor Set Collection Guide
The short answer: track owned slots, purchase candidates, and upgrades separately
The official Android update history says the Daily Shop guarantees one item from each equipment set. That does not mean every displayed item is a useful purchase. Record owned pieces first, then treat only missing slots for a set you use as purchase candidates.
Official iOS history confirms an equipment-set upgrade tree, but it does not establish the same Daily Shop guarantee on iOS.
Separate the three stages
Stage | Track | Risk when mixed together |
|---|---|---|
Ownership | Set, slot, and duplicates | Buying a slot you already own |
Purchase | Shop display, price, and balance | Splitting currency across unused sets |
Upgrade | Active set, next node, and Darksteel | Spending upgrade resources before collection is organized |
Build a set inventory log
Copy set and slot names exactly as shown in the game. Do not invent a missing slot count or effect that is not visible.
Set name | Owned slots | Missing slots | Duplicates | Currently used | Next check |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Copy from screen | Yes / No | Shop / compare / upgrade |
If you save screenshots, keep the set name, slot, ownership state, and visible effect readable in the same frame. Do not turn unreadable image details into factual text.
Eight steps from shop review to equipment check
- Record whether you are using Android or iOS.
- Log the active set, owned slots, and missing slots.
- Read the set, slot, price, and current balance on the shop screen.
- Check whether the item fills a missing slot or duplicates an owned slot.
- Separate “improves the current failure” from “collection only.”
- If buying, record the pre-purchase balance and displayed item.
- After buying, confirm the set and slot in the equipment list.
- Organize collection first, then compare one Darksteel upgrade.
Before buying a set item
Situation | Decision |
|---|---|
Clearly stronger than current gear and fills a missing slot | Purchase candidate |
Duplicates a slot you already own | Delay unless it supports a defined upgrade goal |
Normal equipment progress has stalled | Review current damage and survival first |
Resources are split across several sets | Focus on the set you actually use |
The set effect is not visible | Record ownership without guessing the effect |
When to delay a purchase
- The screen does not clearly show price or currency.
- You cannot tell whether the slot is a duplicate.
- You do not have a purpose for using the set.
- You cannot separate normal gear progress from set completion.
- The only evidence is an old guide's price or set description.
Separate collection from upgrading
Collecting pieces and spending Darksteel are different decisions. Choose the set and missing slots first, change one upgrade, then test the same destination three times.
Limits of the official information
The official update history does not confirm the current shop reset time, price, purchase limit, or whether the same guarantee applies on iOS. Check the current shop screen and currency balance before buying.
