Obsidian Knight Act 2 Guide
Treat Act 2 as a long progression route, not one fixed build
Official update history introduced Act 2 with a new map, more than 35 levels, and more than 80 enemies. Because it is longer than Act 1, do not assume one successful setup will work unchanged to the end. Record whether regular enemies, a group, or the final enemy stops each level.
This guide is for players entering Act 2, repeating the same level, or losing track of progress after changing difficulty.
Check these items when Act 2 begins
- Confirm that Act 2 is selected in the map's Act selector.
- Record the current difficulty and level.
- Check equipment, Potion capacity, and the trigger used by the main Skill Cards.
- Check whether unused cards can be removed through Disable Cards.
- Choose one change for the next attempt.
Act 2 has more levels and enemies, so a setup that succeeds at one point may not answer the next wall.
Change the part matching the failure
Where the run stops | Likely missing part | One next change |
|---|---|---|
Regular enemies take too long | Main trigger frequency | Focus on a frequent source such as Critical |
Groups remain alive | Multi-target chain | Connect Critical to one Stun or Explosion route |
You die with Potions remaining | Potion-use condition or post-heal effect | Review one use, refill, or post-heal effect |
Potions run out | Incoming-damage control | Add one Armor, Dodge, or Stun route |
Only the final enemy remains | Sustained single-target damage | Replace one crowd-only effect with single-target value |
Useful cards rarely appear | The card pool is scattered | Disable cards outside the current trigger chain |
Choose by the condition chain, such as Critical occurring, Critical triggering Stun, and Stun continuing into enemy removal, instead of choosing isolated card names.
Compare attempts in groups of three
A single card draw can produce a misleading result.
- Attempt the same level three times with the same equipment.
- Record depth, remaining HP, and remaining Potions.
- Select the first point that failed.
- Change only card strategy, equipment, or permanent upgrades.
- Compare three more attempts under the same conditions.
If the stopping point changes every run, prioritize repeatable triggers over the highest possible damage roll.
Before changing difficulty
Community reports describe Act 2 progression across multiple difficulties, but official sources do not publish a complete level table or current unlock requirements.
- Check for unfinished markers in the current difficulty.
- Confirm that the next difficulty is selectable in the current game screen.
- Do not mix progress from different difficulties with the same location name.
- Read the current reward and entry-condition display.
Do not use an old required level or equipment value as a fixed threshold.
If Act 3 is not visible
Official history confirms Act 3 and Act III Challenges, but it does not publish the exact transition requirement from Act 2.
- Check Act 2 for unfinished markers.
- Confirm the selected difficulty.
- Finish all visible post-battle dialogue or choices.
- Return to the map and reopen the Act selector.
- Confirm that the app is current.
Do not reinstall before checking save linking. Record the unfinished location and app version first.
