Ant Colony Queen Production: Food, Orders, and Eggs
Ant production needs a selected type and food delivered to the queen
If ordered ants do not appear, check three separate steps before placing another order: whether the ant type was available from the deck, whether workers delivered the required food, and whether the queen produced eggs.
The queen's production menu uses ants included in the deck. Workers carry the required food to the queen, the queen lays eggs, and the ordered type emerges from those eggs. Owning a card or storing food alone does not complete the full process.

Separate selection, delivery, eggs, and birth
Current state | First check | Next action |
|---|---|---|
The desired type is not listed | Is that ant in the active deck? | Separate card ownership from deck selection |
A type was selected but no egg appears | Required food and delivery to the queen | Watch movement, not only the stock number |
Eggs exist but the ant count has not risen | Egg state | Do not count laying and hatching as one instant event |
Ants appear but the needed role is still short | Ordered type | Recheck the order before adding more |
Food stock and feeding are different checks
Food can remain in storage while delivery to the queen is the actual bottleneck. If food is missing, restore supply before increasing orders. Chitin and Sugar should not be treated as substitutes for the food used in ant production.
- Confirm the selected ant type in the production menu.
- Compare the displayed food requirement with available food.
- Watch whether workers deliver food to the queen.
- When eggs appear, switch from supply checks to observing hatching.
